The Death of George Eastman

The Death of George Eastman

"To my friends,

My work is done

Why Wait?"

George Eastman - Inventor of Kodak

On March 14th 1932, 'the father of photography' left this simple note after having committed suicide with a single gunshot to the heart.

Earlier in the evening Eastman had hosted his nearest and dearest to witness the updating of his will and upon them leaving he took out a fresh piece of paper and left the simple note.
